Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service description

Clausly provides AI-assisted analysis of legal documents. You upload a document or paste text; our service returns a plain-language summary, potential red flags, and suggested questions. The service is provided by Dominik Mikuš ("we", "us", "Clausly").

2. Not legal advice

Clausly is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The output generated by our service is produced by an AI model and is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, does not create a lawyer-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified legal professional. We make no warranty that the analysis is complete, accurate, or up to date with current law in your jurisdiction.

3. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to share or analyse
  • Use the service to process personal data of third parties without their consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
  • Resell or redistribute our output without permission

4. Payment and refunds

Full document analysis is available for a one-time payment of €4.99 per document. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. All prices are inclusive of applicable VAT. Because the analysis is delivered digitally and immediately upon payment, you acknowledge that you waive your right to a 14-day cooling-off period under the EU Consumer Rights Directive once the analysis has been delivered.

If you experience a technical failure that prevents delivery of your analysis, contact us at support@clausly.com for a resolution or refund.

5. Access and result availability

Paid analysis results are accessible via a unique URL for 24 hours after generation. After this period the results are automatically deleted. You are responsible for downloading or saving your report within this window. We cannot recover expired results.

6. Intellectual property

The analysis output generated from your document is provided to you for personal use. We retain no rights to your original document. You retain all rights to your document content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clausly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the analysis in question.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also retain the protection of mandatory consumer law provisions in your country of residence.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
